” I would defintely NOT recommend the online learning option with this school. Masters Academy is NOT a private school. They recieve PUBLIC FUNDING and are associated a PUBLIC school board with one of the lowest wages in the province. You get what they pay for… Lower caliber teachers… The main teachers in this online “show” could not maintain a genuinely “friendly” facade with everyone during first impressions. One couldn’t hide the permanent sneer on their face. Another, during a private conversation resorted to snarling a degrading verbal insult because they didn’t know the answer to a nonthreatening, innocent question. The Calgary Board of Education on the other hand has THE higher paid teachers… Again – you get what they pay for… Higher caliber teachers, with accountability & MUCH more professional interactions. “
